Mr. Michal Svantner, Director of WIPO’s Department for Transition and Developed Countries, opened the conference by applauding the international student assembly for their participation, and thanked Dr. Yanisky-Ravid for founding the seminar and ensuring its steady growth over the last 11 years.  Speaking on behalf of all the professors, Dr. Yanisky-Ravid also addressed the students to emphasize the connection between intellectual property and Israeli-Palestinian peace process.

All of the students thoroughly enjoyed the seminar, which was a wonderful academic and cultural exchange experience for all involved.
